Includes bedding and towels, cutlery and crockery, underfloor heating, DSTV, a Bar-b-que (braai) area in the kitchen and an original AGA oven. Guests are responsible for their own food, drink, clothes, firewood and firelighters (blitz) for your bar-b-que (braai).
There are 3 double rooms and 2 rooms with twin beds. Two of the 3 double
rooms has it's own on-suite bathroom. There is an extra bathroom for the other
rooms. One of the double rooms also have an on-suite children’s room with 2 single beds.
The farm is about 30 km from Matjiesfontein on the tar road and another 30
km on a gravel road. Sutherland is +/- 60 km away from De Kom, on the gravel road
Take your own flour and yeast and Magrieta (one of the workers who live on the farm) will bake you a huge, farm bread.
The farm has all kinds of wildlife, as well as a great 4 x 4 route.
